Club Meetings

Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month except January, at The Highway Hotel, 290 Anzac Highway, Plympton (Corner of Marion Road & Anzac Highway).

The meetings commence at
7.30 pm, however, members who wish to, meet at  6.30 pm in the dining room or adjacent bar, and enjoy a meal together before the meeting.

Membership of the club is not expensive and significant benefits can be gained from the experienced members.
So why not come along to the next meeting, meet the members, enjoy the friendship, participate in the fly fishing experience and become a devotee like the rest of us!

Club Trips

Generally at each monthly meeting a trip or activity is organised for the coming month. These can vary from a casting day, a day trip or weekend away.
Casting days are ocasionally held at the Patawalonga and are used for giving guidance on casting techniques to new or inexperienced members.

Day trips and weekends away can be either land or boat based. You do not need a boat to participate as there is normally sufficient boats within the current members to accommodate people wishing to go on the trip.
Venues for trips are many and varied and the main fish species targeted include Bream, Salmon, Flathead, Mulloway, Snook, Trout, Callop, Murray Cod and Carp.
